Broadbeach Robina 4th Grade 2008/09

With a new looking 4th grade this year our first game was against Loganholme with a win to start the season standout players for the game were Paul Sinclair 97.

Second game against Burleigh was another convincing win, J Raffin top scored with 44.

Third game against Tambourine scoring another win with Paul Sinclair performing again with a 62.

Fourth game against Southport Labrador Black another win with Cam Beggley top scored with 60 and Paul Sinclair with another big effort 47.

Fifth game against Runaway Bay Orange unfortunately was our first loss for the season.

Sixth game against Mudgereba with a good contributing effort from everyone with the bat and Matty Shaw with his first 4 wicket haul and a win.

Seventh game against Runaway Bay Vince with a great 97 and Paul with another strong 42 unfortunately game was washed out.

Eighth game against Surfers Paradise with another convincing win Robbie Hayes with a lucky 56.

Ninth game against Southport Labrador another convincing win with excellent effort by Vince Serci 96 not out.

Tenth game against Queens second loss for the season so far with no outstanding effort.

Eleventh game against Palm Beach back on the winning circuit with another great effort from Paul Sinclair 45 Adam Sinclair 48.

Twelfth game against Loganholme another great effort from Vince Serci with the bat 82 and Andy Skurrie with 4 wickets and a win.

Thirteenth game against Coomera again Vince Serci 55 another good win.

Our winning streak continued right up until the Grand Final with outstanding performances from *Vince Serci *with another* 40 * *Jason Cox* *50* ,* Jason Cox 4 wickets ,Cam Beggley 52 ,Robbie Hayes 50 not
out ,Vince Serci 111 not out, Ben Johnson 4 wickets *

In our first final we had a convincing win against Loganholme with Matt Tracey 101 with the bat, Matt Shaw 5/31 with the ball. We then played Runaway Bay Navy in the second final with another win with Ben Johnson 4/36. So now we only had one more game to win the Grand Final unfortunately it wasn't our day losing with the bat.

Thanks for the great effort boys. Looking forward to seeing you next season, hopefully we can go one better.
